Not sure. Do you have the "P" codes? If not, go to an Autozone or some such parts place and have them pull the codes. Post them here and we can help you troubleshoot it.

seems like your readiness monitors were not set.

did you disconnect the battery prior to taking the test?

if power is removed, the car requires multiple drive cycles to reset the monitors.

if you have no check engine light on, then drive the car for a few days, and retest.

it doesnt seem like you failed, just that the car was not ready for the test.

OBDII is a pain like that. instead of a tailpipe sniffer, the car "inspects" itself. it did not have enough data to report a pass or fail.

Car does not have the "check engine" light on. Would Autozone be able to pull out the codes without the light on?Also, I have not disconnected the battery prior to the test. The battery and a couple of belts were changed 3 months ago and since then I have been driven the car for quite a while.(Someone else at the test center suggested the same thing, that I drive the car on the highway). On another note, car also pulls back when tachometer is @ 2000rpm. Problem is more accute when driving at 60 miles an hour on the highway.I do not know whether to blame the car for this problems or the previous owner that did not take care of it.(I purchased the car in December)Feedbacks are appreciated!!Klei
