My 96' 240SX SE

Im getting ready to change out the suspension on my 96' 240SX SE. I got this car from my mom who only put 78000 miles on it. I want a better ride and better handling, so any suggestions whats the "Best Bang for your buck"? For shocks or struts? The original suspension is shot, I think from not being driven for the past 7 years. Bushings are cracked, etc...
