Thanks peeps.

Yeah I have got a sick type 3 style body kit on lock for cheap and it's legit grass root battle friendly. I just need to save up for it and stuff to go with it to make it look right.

My whip is going into hybernation for the winter :[ kuz I can't get work done when it is 30-40* out side. Until then I'll just take pics of new parts as they come in.

Currently helping my friend fab a roll cage for his S12 more or less me just holding **** and him tacking it.

New parts as the pay checks roll in :D

I came when I saw these puppies on my door step.I LOVE these ProjectSilvia.com tension rods there legit.Shinny no scratches powder coated forest green and BEEFY as F***!I feel like I'm holding a torque wrench when I swing this thing around.I got em to replace my mis-matched oem/tein tension rods. I have OCD I couldn't live with no matching parts up front.and the other side..The pen is used for size reference. And these things are TINY and legit carbon fiber. from driftingperformance super store. There TCS sportlines. The bases are cheezy plastic but what ever there way better then what I had before. my mirrors are held together by hot glue and appoxy.

SWEET!! Looks like you've had your hands full lately. I wish I had free time still. Enjoy it while it lasts!

What kind of rims are those? Where did you them? What size are they?

Again, Sweet project! Thanks for the photos.

Nice build sucks your hood popped up on you . Love the mirrors though. Man this is a lesson learned (put the hood latches on or don't put an after market hood on .)Good luck

Nice build, it sucks to have a accident like that but it's nice to see that some good has come out of it.

The bronze wheels are the MB Weapon's and they are 17-9, 5 x114.3 there like 120$ ish a wheel. you can pick them up from tires.com for the best price out there on them. enjukuracing also sells them but for like 10-20$ more per wheel. so get them from tires.com

I haven't put any more into work it or won't be for a few months, it's hybernating, I can't do anything when it is 30* out side, it's misserable, I know i should just man up. at least this way when summer rolls around this biznacho is going on jack stands and every thing is getting slammed on at once. just gathering parts as of now.

the hood popping up shouldn't have been a lesson to learned, i had driven 1000+ miles when it failed to latch properly one time, i didn't have hood pins at the time, seeing dozens of other people have CF hoods using the factory latching system I thought it was safe, the cosmos just hate me i guess haha.

every one says that about the color, i went with white cuz it's easy, out of a garage and my first time, i had to repaint the WHOLE car it wouldn't have just been touch up. in the future i plan on a new color other then white, i'm still thinking about it I want to know how people get these kinda paint sparkles? I like the dark forest emerald green every one does, or something crazy like a pastel light yellow, green or blue. Or....idk something not sure yet. I like those sparkles how do they do it? and any know what kinda wheels are on the green S13 coupe?

Usually the crazy sparkle cars are actually not covered in paint at all, but in a full body vinyl. That way they dont have to worry about messing up $1000 paint bc they just have a cheap vinyl all over their car.

Oh haha dear cosmo's no, I have much more in store then repainting it any time soon. I have barely got to drive my car at all this year due to the weather and time upon completion of the car. And I'm thinking KA-T in the furture. JGS factory is 2 hours from my house I've come to find and the owner is my GF's Dad's childhood friends so I will see what kinda job I can get working there this summer when I go off to collage.

Only reason I ask about the paint is cuz it's crazy and Idk how they got those sort of sparkles and I couldn't sleep at night not knowing. Painting was a PAIN IN THE BUTT no way would i do that again any time soon without any good reason.

Ahaha! Every one has said that I used to look like S13teddy I finally saw that kid, I have my hair buzzed now, no slim fit jeans and have a stand up job making coffee lol.

The car is staying white for as long as i know, I was just kicking around the idea if I were to ever change colors what would I go with... don't worry about seeing any new color for a long long time.

BUT this just in (drum roll plz)

TADA!!!!! OBX Headers :D so I can run this with 3' straight pipe to my blitz muffler! and fix that exhaust leak all in one. I'm going to heat wrap it btw.

awaiting my next goodie in the next few days... to be continued...

Thanks, I've seen them on ebay, didn't know if I should be looking elsewhere. Seems like you get the luck of the draw if the header/EGR fits right. Hope I get lucky, I'm keeping emissions.

Yeah I checked into the egr thing before I bought it, i got a review from a guy who bought the obx headers for his ka withing the last year he said every thing bolted right up or you can hear it from the horses mouth...

(Quote)"I bought a OBX last year. I don't know why people say they don't fit well. It was just as hard to put the stock manifold back on to pass emissions when I moved to cali as it was to put the obx header on. (Ok the stock is a little easier since it's two piece..)

I just think most people do it wrong..

Hook up the EGR tube FIRST then put the bolts and everything else on.I struggled just as much getting the egr tube screwed into the stock manifold as I did screwing it in the obx header...

I can't speak for the other headers out there besides obx.

I've since put my obx back on, so I've installed it twice.Honestly it's not that hard..

Also the 2ndary air injection hose goes to a hard-tube. Disconnect the rubber hose from the metal one, screw the metal hose into the header and then attach it back to the rubber hose with the hose clamp. Don't try to screw in the 2ndary air injection metal tube into the header while it's still connected to the rubber hose."

and there you have it.

better then an autobody shop..... JGS factory in a few months SON! (I hope)

and it was just my mom(no dad ever since i can remember) that showed me the "apply goopie stuff, let dry, sand and repeat as desired!" That and GF's dad (sort of a mentor to me) let me work out of their garage for a bit (notice in the pic list car location changes)

Thanks for all the supportive comments and what not. More pics of new parts either tomorrow or monday until then putting in hours to make banks and more toys!!!!! mewhahah!!!

Yeah I found that post last night about the EGR. Ordered the header right after that. I'll definitely keep the "trick" in mind when installing.

I am psyched to see that your paint came out the way it did....I bought the same stuff months ago but have not made it to the body portion of my build, plus i need to rent a garage in maine where i can transport all of my goods for a weekend to do the paint. Iam going to be going 2 tone (gun metal grey and gloss black)

Yeah, I ordered the header because I currently have exhaust leaks out the ***. Greddy header is a pile of junk. It loves to crack.

Have you had any issues when gassing up your ride, such as bubbling or peeling when spilled on your finish? I heard the lauquer based paints you used and I am about to do not hold up very well against contact with these chemicals from older hot rod guys
