nice man. How did you get that back panel to support the amps? That panel is just supported by some week plastic screws.

Just got a nice piece of quarter inch plywood and mounted it to the 2 fuel tank brackets and the 2 lower anchor brackets. Holds well if secured properly. First attempt just included the fuel tank brackets but they break easily with the stress and road vibration.

How does it sound? I have never heard subs in a J30, but have been told that the separation between the trunk and the cabin deadens the sound.

Well you know it isnt going to sound like a hatchback or an SUV or a sh*t box thats got just a thin seat back between the trunk and cabin. Theres alot of material (fuel tank, thick sheet metal, alot of leather) in there thats deadens much of the db's but since my stock 6x9's amps went i just removed the back speakers and that allows much improved airflow so i got a few more db's out that way... probably just going to cut a nice port hole in the back deck once i replace those 6x9's.

with the back speaks out there shouldnt be any trouble.i have the center of the back between speaks cut out and behind armrest.i have .330 airspace boxes attached to rear deck for 8s but i dont use them any more.midbass anyway
