So here is the story, i recently had a 240 and i let my friend use my Q this past fall, he loved it said it was fast blah blah blah. So now i have have had my Q back for a while and he bought a 2000 crown victoria P71 police interceptor. He is telling me that his car has a chance. Iam thinking maybe till 30 since it probably has short gearing. What do you guys thinks. oh yeah and i have a JWT ECU and hopefully when i get in contact with wes or rob i will get a nico one.

Since the police interceptor package on a Crown vic amounts to some improved cooling and little else, I wouldnt be very afraid of the 4.6's 230hp of fury (Im fairly certian the Crown vic didnt get teh updated heads that would have made 260hp for a couple more years)

Suspension improvements mean the police fleet Crown Vic handles shockingly well for its size. I drove and almost bought a '99 before I came across this Q.

As far as power, I didnt think it was anything to cream my pants over. It was nice, and it would have been nicer if I had longer legs.

Don't worry the best times are 0 to 60 = 8.5 and 0-100=21.2216.45/89.41 in quarter milehttp://www.nlectc.org/pdffiles/lasd2006report.pdf

If you look on forum for old post should find links to old Police Car evaluations.
