my 93 wont stay on

help, i just degreased my 93 ka engine and now my brake light stays on and the engine wont stay on. unless i keep my foot on the gas for a few seconds it'll just turn off

Does it do anything else weird or just doesn't stay on? I had a car do what you're describing before and it was because it had broken rods and bearings. Any sort of rattling, strange noise?
