Hey Getmo!* I've been off-line the past month after some goof finally got through with that'my doom' virus that was going around. There's a warm place in hell for those ***holes.Anywayz. You're right: THIS IS A GREAT WEBSITE WITH KOOL MEMBERS!Good to hear another 93 J30t had the same problem I had!I read ALL of the posts, or replies, and everyone could've been the probelm. With mine, it turned out much simpler and right in front of my head before the 'He-lots' (a lot of heels) took advantage of me and my wallet: I had read the owner's manual and was trying to test the milage per 10 gallons, when I drove 50 miles to a VA hospital like a breeze at half a tank. By the time I returned to the parking lot and cranked it up: it was like the engine was running on 5 cyclinders! I recalled that the past fillup, I had filled the first half with regular, second half with premium--high octane. 'Trying to save some bucks. I drove back home the 50 miles and filled up with premium--full tank, then I bought a small bottle of 'octane booster' like they use in race cars. I let the car sit over night. Next day; I'm breezing again--purring on down the highways of life with the sun roof drawn back, and Stevie Ray on the Pioneer. The truth: you gotta put at least above 91 octane in 93-95 J30, and J30ts. It's the same engine as the 300 ZX, ya know?Try that. I agree with the one poster and the dealer: you likely never needed anything but a great tank of gasoline to begin with.Happy J-driveing.Jasonsos
