Welcome

The search will find quite a bit of info about it. Mine doesn't close by it's self it starts to try and get crooked in there. Pushing on one side helps. I'm just too lazy to fix it.

He just said that he changed the motor. If you have any maintenance tips, just say it.

You can try lubricating the tracks. That has often helped mine in the past.

I know exactly what you were asking but I wasn't asking the question. The OP was. Obviously he hasn't done any maintenance or he would have listed it along with changing of the motor. It was clear in his post that the only maintenance he has done was the motor change.

He came on here asking for things to do to help fix the problem. Yeah, what are "none engineers"?

sorry guys i didnt mention any maintanence cause i've only had the car for 2 months. so far new front tires and an oil change. i love the car just wish the v-8 really felt like a v-8 its very sluggish in low rpms. the engine came out of a q45 t cause the original had a broken and seized timing chain. came across a 92 q45t with a good transmission and engine did complete swap. still have old endine i tried changing all coil packs but still sluggish. but the weird part is if the car sits for a whole day and i use it it starts and runs fine but when i park it for like a half hour and start it the rpms are below 500 rpms. it gets better after a few minutes but the power is just not there. please help me. also anyone know where to get lowereing springs for 92 q????

Focus on getting the car to run good then worry about lowering springs. But check out http://Q45.org and do some of the things listed there to begin with.

Prolly need to run a diagnostic on it but think stuff like knock sensors and clean the contacts on the MAF sensor.
