I have a 81 280zx and it starts up but won't let me put it into gear, it tries to move forward everytime i try to put it into first. It lets me put it into reverse but it grinds and I have to force it in....can anyone help me?

yup sounds like a dead dlutch, is the pedal pressure fine? pedal returning ok? if the pedal feels ok then you mist likely just need a clutch

it's not on the engine, it's in the trans, on the lower portion of the bellhousing on the passanger side, just follow the hudraulic line

completely normal, higher revs spin the pump faster building more pressure
