The owner of a 350z shop here in dallas was telling me that the convertible Z is a better handling car. Has anyone heard this?
I don’t know if the convertible Z is a better handler as I’ve never driven one but I do know that in order to meet safety requirements that extra welds and internal supports were added to stiffen it up. That’s one of the reasons that it weighs more. Without the extra support and without a roof, like the coupe, it would be pretty flimsy.
