I was driving comfortably and stopped at a light. The Z stalled at the light, I started it again, it ran 1/4 mile, then stalled again...

My mechanic has eliminated the following as culprits:

Igniter...fuel pump....relay...mass flow sensor

He said that it seems to shut down when it gets hot (?)

CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!!!! Thanks

Time to check the temp sensor. Its the connector that's in front of the engine on a radiator hose.

Yeah def. check the temp sensor it does all kinds of weird things when not working right.

Also, have you actually pulled codes yet?

How did you come to that conclusion?

Fuel temp sensor is another thing to check as to why its shutting down.

Not being a mechanic, I'm at their mercy...so that was his conclusion and it works GREAT!

How did he say he fixed it and how much did he charge? I'm sensing a rusty pole on this one...

He changed the fuel pump and the computer...came to $500...complete...I'm SURE if I was more mechanically inclined, I could've done better!! Maybe in my next life!! Thanks again!!
