my 300zx has a reving problem

it starts but then after a couple of second it turns off....doesnt even rev...help plz

when it starts does it idle before shutting off? does it die when you give it gas? thinking afmand I'll move this to the correct area

does the 300zx have one of those kill switches by the clutch??? looks like a toggle switch??
