Ok...lemme see if I get this straight. You have a stock motor with a single turbo conversion and an automatic trans and you are taking a 700AWHP Evo? How is that possible?

Stock 2JZ engines put maybe 300 at the crank. I know they respond very well to increased boost and I know that the JZ engine is a fantastic motor...but to say you are putting down that much power with a stock motor and single turbo conversion (plus, guessing a full turbo back exhaust, intake filters, intercooler, ECU tune and boost up), how is this possible?

And I also know power to weight ratio is much better when running a 3 litre 6 cylinder in a fairly light car. Just want to know.

And I think it's an awesome swap and the car is fast as hell. Just want to know how...

thank you!

The car is stock motor with a single turbo setup on e85. the car made 620 on 30lbs but in those races i was on roughly 25-26lbs. so just like you said with a 3.0 single turbo and a much lighter car it makes a nice combo. But i would say one of the biggest factors that makes the setup work so well is the automatic. the car doesnt spin from a roll and shifts very fast.

The GTR that i ran in the other video actually beat that same evo in a race with the GTR making less power and weighing more, the auto makes a big difference in drag racing.

Ok...30psi of boost...on a stock bottom end? No kidding? Wow. Now I can see where it comes from. Are the bolt ons in mention in the earlier post there? ECU tune?

the 2009 GTR's horn doesnt work either. He pulled the airbag to save weight which messed up the horn... sorry no horns :)
