i just got her about 3 weeks ago, still working out some bugs.. my boost controller makes weird noises and doesnt work right and i'm running a 4.6:1 A/F ratio under boost because of a broken Intake Air temp sensor. Before the IATS was broke she dyno'd 306 RWHP at 16psi. Correct me if i'm wrong...but how do you make 306 whp at s16 psi with the SMIC?...doesn't make any sense

If you guys look at the third picture you guys will see the fmic. That fmic seems to use the stock smic pipings.

you can run them that way because thats how they are on Honda and Acuras but it doesnt make much sense because of the extra piping but it can be done that way.

Weird, looks like a side mount to me, you have any other pics of the FMIC? I'm curious to see.

Also, I don't remember my SR even having an "IATS". And that A/F ratio you listed has to be way wrong, an optimal a/f ratio is something like 12.0:1. (only a wideband o2 sensor can detect a/f like this, if you're is stock, it's not a wideband)

I dont have a maf, i have a VPC (vein pressure converter) runs off of a MAP and IATS. As far as the A/F its called an exhaust gas analyser...i put it on our dyno at school just so i could run it under boost and get my A/F ratio. and yes its 4.6:1 which is WAY wrong. hence thats why i need a new IATS

But yea i'll take some pics of the intercooler, maybe it is supposed to be a upgrade for the SMIC but it came with the car so.......

Is that the way your motorset came or have you collected and put all of those parts on yourself? That so called "FMIC" looks like the GReddy side mount core that was moved to the front, I dont think GReddy would call that a front mount core. I personally wouldn't run that intercooler on that kind of boost or power level for that matter, just not safe. I'm not trying to degrade your project, just trying to make aware of somethings that may give you some trouble in the end. All in all its nice to see your project and see the numbers that you've made.

the only thing i have put on the car is the BOV, the rest came with it. Not a bad deal for $3700. And yea i do plan to get a different FMIC, something alot bigger....
