Hey guyz. I've already decided on most of the mods I want to purchase within the next 5 years for my 240sx. I just wanted to ask you guys what you think. So far, I calculated the total to be around 59k. (not including 6spd transmission from hks, upgraded cams, pistons, rings, valve springs, etc for the sr20). My goal is at least 500hp, no more than 12's on the strip and a really showy look.

Engine:s14 sr20det black topmy current hks dragger exhaustupgrade turbo (dont know which one yet)racing radiator/intercoolerupgraded injectorsupgraded everything for the enginegt cooling panrev limiter

:D

I think that's all that I can type right now. There's probably a whole lot more that I want to put down, especially in the engine area.

I want excessive . .unneccesarry . . beastly . . mad . . power from my 240sx . . so far .. I've chosen the black top sr20det . .but is there another engine I could get for a decent price that will give me more power and is as easy to tune (meaning as easy to find parts for as the sr20?)

Elaborate on this . . help me out a lil............. fix some errors ..

ps - are endless's Zeal coilovers better than Tein's?

Another suggestion would be a custom steering column with better wheel placement, etc.

93semax: come on man eveyone has a starting point. and your right goshoryuken, you were talking alot of poo about your S14....anyway B2T don't mean to rain on your paraid but the agasthiya wide body kit dosent exsist anymore and im allready getting the front bumper :D , if you want a 6 speed transmission you might as well go wit teh S15 motor swap but for power (stickin gto your SR motor) an S13 will do just fine, (search for the reasons as to why teh S13's are better, something to do wit upgradeing the turbo), suspension you should go wit JIC SUS (anyone would do but they are more for drifting i think), KAAZ LSD wouold be great for getting the power to stay on the ground and an exdey clutch would help getting that power to the wheels...if you really want power get the RB motor. They are cheaper and have more power. IMO teh SR's are good motors but they are over priced and a lil over rated, but then again thats my opinion.

I say you import a skyline or S15, after all you are spending in excess of 60,000 dollars, A skyline wouldn't win you many shows, but an S15 sure would get some attention, which seems to be what you are after.

Why would I run away nigga. Call Javier at Star Nissan and ask him who bought the purple 95 240sx from him about 4 months ago. Ya'll bore me. I just plain and simple bought the s14 because everyone was saying it was better for doing the s15 conversion and the target wide body kit. So I did all that and got the body kit custom installed in CA and the paint jet black. The car is in california and yes . .it's garaged, cause I'm gonna go drive it back to ny myself this summer. I ran out of dough for now to work on that. I am working on my 240sx right now. You can ask kaioshin1982 bout my 89 240sx tho, cause it's at a shop in flushing called prince auto and those guys suck *** . . they still can't figure out why the car keeps idleing and dying. The maf is good, the sensors are good . .now I'm thinking maybe the timing needs some work. I'm saving money right now for the sr. so ya'll can bob ur head up and down, believe what u want, and pretend ur me. its not this board, it's just every board. everyone go's off flaming people for no reason. heck, if u dont believe no one . .keep it to urself n.i.g.g.a. i'm driving my s14.5 back this summer and everyones welcome to come drool over it like girls drool over my big *** dyack.

HAHA! fockers

ps - definately getting a wing. I know the wing is gay, i didn't put it there The reason why the car is in the shop iss due to the previous owner, not me. i take care of my cars. The agasthiya wide body kit is mine, wether i have to go to japan and rip that **** off that 180sx or not. i will pay those ****ers handsomely. and i can get it from jspec.com . . u guys dont believe me . .shoot them an e-mail at [email protected] and ask them, they'll tell u it's 4400, not including shipping. I would get an s15, if i was stupid enough to work for the next year saving up enough money to just legalize it. you can thank the dmv guys for that.

About the RB suggestion, are you suggesting the rb25 or the rb26? and like i was told . .won't that leave me with no space under the hood for any mods? cause the cars that those engines go into . . have huge under hood compartments . . and to be honest . .the 240's isn't that big. plus parts for rb's are more expensive and more hard to find, and that will also be going against the tradition of 240's. And if . . the agasthiya widebody kit is not available by the time I am ready to buy it . . . I'll just get the URAS kit. With the top chopped . . it'll look hot. Yes, my car does look ghetto, and you would say that even more if you saw it in person. The exhaust is huge . . hks dragger.. but it sounds awesome so I can live with it and since i'm going sr, i'll keep that. The custom magnaflow intake sucks asssss tho. There was a dent on the right fender, and a hole in the left passenger door. I had the guys at the shop bondo those parts up and paint it. The good thing about my car is the exhaust . . and the chassis. the engine, transmission, brakes, tires, and now the body . .they're all in good shape. I'm spending money on it right now to basically get it in decent working condition so I can drive to work and college with it. This way I can spend less time in transportation and spend more hours at the office .. make some more cash . . and get my sr real quick. I'm not necessary looking for attention, I'm just looking to hand everyone their asses...

HAHAHAHA

To get 500 hp I think you will have to put 20,000 into the engine alone...

350 is much more reasonable for an SR

I want to see your car, post a picture of this "S14.5" When I see it (and some proof you actually own it) I'll believe it. I'm sorry but it is exceptionally unbelievable that someone in college could have two cars, both of which they were heavily modifying. Sorry, but I bet we have all had bad experiences with people saying they had stuff they didnt actually have, and you seem like one of those people, no offense intended, its just not believeable.

Dude, if you are going to fully build an sr, which I doubt you are, go with an s13, they have more potential because of the high port head. Instead of putting the s15 front end on your 180, look into the s14a conversion, it looks better and is probably more rare. Sounds like a lot of money to drop into a s13 fastback, people are still gonna like "Is that a probe?"

Also known as a chop shop. Chop shops come in many forms. From your explanation, that shop reeks of morons and shady activity. You don't start swapping in used parts to trouble shoot. This is rule #2. Rule number one being avoid chop shops. I'd report this to the BBB immediately if i were you.

SmithSR you talking to me?

Anwways... from what I saw the shop does look decent tho... thats what was weird that they didnt know what was wrong with it. From what i know they thought it was the MAF sensor and before they order it they wanted to make sure that was the problem so they wanted me to bring my car to try it. Also the shop was pretty big and had few cars for them to work on.

By the way whats BBB
