Ok so I bought a 1990 240sx. It has a ka24e that I have been working on due to a coolest leak. Problem is the more I look at the car the more problems I keep finding......I don't know we're to start and I have a small amount of money that I can really spend on it. I have a lot of ideas but not idea if they would get street credit or labeled ricer. Need help!!!!

well what are your ideas?

the best place to start is making sure it is reliable. sure you can make your car look cool but if it doesnt run then your not going anywhere.

where is it leaking coolant? coolant leaks are usually the easiest and most straight forward.

one thing ive learned from my 240sx's is take your time on it or plan on doing it over. use alot of penitrating oils and try to refrain from loosening any bolts with an extension. sure it might take more time to disasemble other stuff to reach but itll take more time to extract a broken bolt.

welcome to the 240 game. your gonna love it and hate it but youll feel so satisfied when your car goes from running to not running to running great again. nothing is a better feeling hearing your car start up after 2 straight days of working on it and putting it all back together.

let us know and well be happy to help

I totally agree! You gotta make your ride reliable before you even think about modding it.
