Hi everyone, again id like to thank fellow member for your replies in advance. I just been having a minor issue with my S13, its a 91 coupe with the KA24DE I noticed on the way home today that the check engine light illuminated for some reason, then i noticed that the car idles kinda high (900rpm), but worse parts is if my car is moving it wants to stall, when i kick it into neutral while i am rolling (idle drops almost to 0 and i rev her to bring it back up, then it stablizes after a few tries). It does the same thing if i rev her high and fast, mostly makes the idle bounce a little after approaching norm idle speed (drops to 3-500rpm then goes back to 9-950rpm).

Its the worse when im am going highways speeds and i throw her outta 4th gear into neutral (IE a freeway exit), she stalls. I jiggled a few connectors thinking it came loose (it happens alot on my Z32), but no go.

So far in the last week i had it i replaced the spark plugs, fuel filter, installed a air intake, new o2 sensors, flushed radiator, and put in redline water wetter and prestone coolant mix, added redline fuel system cleaner in tank, and changed oil with mobil1 and bosch filter. She ran alot better after all that. BTW She ran fine with all the mods and stuff i had above, she started to do that just today for soem reason. Sorry for the long post. :)

my 93 hatch had a similar problem after a top end run (my speedo doesnt work though) i was going about 115 or so, and then the motor just cut COMPLETELY off, i tried puttin her in nuetral and startin from teh roll, and she'd just bounce (the tach) and die, i thought it was just cause i hit the govenor, but sounds like you're havin gthe same problme, except just in normal driving so i dunno

try changing your fuel filter. or you can blow it out with an air compressor. but be carefull with blowing it out becasue you wil wind up with a face full of fuel. they arent expensive and are easy as hell to replace. unlike most other cars fuel filters.

If your check engine light came on, then there should be a code stored in the ecu. Check it.
