Dude, I don't care wat any1 says, your car is pimp and you have a sweet suspension setup, very well balanced and those wheels are the sechs!... now u need RUCAs

what kind of rearend do u have in that thing or is it open?

PS, I think you should paint the whole car the color of the front

-That blue color is bad luck and needs to get off of my car. Right now its prolly gonna go the same color as Chmercers car... the wineberry, or artic pearl white.

-It has an open diff in it right now thats about to get welded. (VLSD is weak sauce and I dont have 1000 for a deftforce.

-The rear end is fine for now. Next thing up for suspension is inner/outter tie rods. The passenger side is bent from a wreck from before I got the car (noticed when I was adjusting the toe out for the S14 FLCAs). Also, I want more steering angle. The Rear is prolly gonna get the works too, Possibly even the Biot solid shock bushings that SPL sells, I have yet to decide if I want to deal with pressing all that stuff out/in to the upright.

Sounds like some good hardware. Those wheels look like a bigger version of the Longchamps...they look stellar. The Silvia front end is meh. Lookin' good overall.

Nice mod list you have there. I also really like your wheels, usually i don't really like 17's on the s13 body but yours look nice for some reason. Good job on it

Oh, another quick question how do you like the SPL tension rods? I've been thinking about getting some but am contemplating on getting some new wheels

Nice everything bro. that thing is really going to be damn close to show carstatus when you slap that coat of arctic pearl white on there...would look awesome if you did charcoal metallic on the underbody for a 2 tone look.my buddy has XR4 longchamps on his Sil80 and this totally reminds me of that look. Next time I see him, I'll snap a pic so you can check it out.

NICELY DONE. questions : solid aluminum subframe bushings andaluminum rack bushings...harsh feel? Also, rolling/hammering the rear fenders out. did you use a heat source?did you have any problems with paint cracking? looks like you did a prettygood job, did you have to use the roller tool or bb bat?

"Nice everything bro. that thing is really going to be damn close to show carstatus when you slap that coat of arctic pearl white on there..."

I don't think its too showy, pretty mild compared to some of the other stuff out there

"would look awesome if you did charcoal metallic on the underbody for a 2 tone look."

I thought about that... but I don't think it will continue to fit once I start changing stuff (the wheels are gonna go for a set of Weds SA70s in 17/18 stagger once I get to a point where I can trade up without feeling like a ricer for ignoring other stuff.

"my buddy has XR4 longchamps on his Sil80 and this totally reminds me of that look. Next time I see him, I'll snap a pic so you can check it out."

Yeah, I was gonna do a sorta mid ninetys look with 16in Work BRS (which are still on panda garage, I got my Sterns from them too) but I saw these for 100$ more expensive and decided to jump.

"NICELY DONE. questions : solid aluminum subframe bushings andaluminum rack bushings...harsh feel?"

The steering rack bushings are poly... I honestly don't find anything about this car bothersome (besides open downpipe which will be changing as soon as my exhaust gets in). The diff whine I actually like... but really the only noise that drives me nuts is rattles...

"Also, rolling/hammering the rear fenders out. did you use a heat source?did you have any problems with paint cracking? looks like you did a prettygood job, did you have to use the roller tool or bb bat?"

You can't tell from the pics but the white paint is eggshelled to hell so I just took my jackhandle and jammed it in there and started prying. IMO it worked pretty well except I wouldnt do it on fresh paint.

240SXJeff. I can't comment on how much they help since I did every single one of the mods I listed at the same time. I've been told that the two biggest changes in feel you can make are solid subframe bushings and tension rods though. If your gonna get tension rods get SPL they are the beefiest on the market and light as hell (it looks like Battle Version tried to knock em off too)

Yeah If I get the rods they are definately get them from SPL. I Have the my RUCA's from Battle Version and I was a little bit dissapointd in the weld quality on them

nice. I tried my jack handle and a towel but I turned sissypants about it cause my paint is pretty good and my body panels are straighter thanmy last coupe...so I'm paranoid

what I meant by showcar, is not hot import nights style. If you went to any car show, your ***t would get mad style points, the silvia face hasextremely clean panels from what I can tell.

Rattling cars drive EVERYONE ******G BONKERS...the price you pay...

only thing that would make it better to me would be [__|__]squareEyes[__|__]

seriously, I'm totally feelin the mods you've made. plain and simple. its clean, therefore its hot...cause miCahtron don't like body kits.

Well, hopefully I'll be getting a kit sometime before X-Mas. Uras N+, if you've ever seen the Kouki 180 Aero bumper thats what it looks like.

But your right about the projectors... those need to go in the trash. I want J's/Late Model boxes bad but I'm too poor / lazy to deal with it.

here's to being poor and lazy... post up a picture of the kit so I can talk ***tjust kidding, its probably tight, I think its this one unless I'm mistaken.little confused though, you gonna do a facelift and go back to 180 stylez?

but anyway, I'd say add a front lip or silvia aero bumper, J's lights, paint job,and call it a day...that is, until you start tuckin 18x11 work vsxx...heh...then she's gonna need a little more coaxing. keep the rear end with no wang...but would look decent if you got one of thoseridge type low profile trunk lid "aero" strips...you know what I'm talkin about.damn, I can't wait to see pics though.

Err... Sorry, Brainfart, I meant the Uras N+ for Silvia. It will have the 180 Skirts though.

That Uras N+ look extemely clean on that Silvia. I like how its simple, also is that a separate front lip that it comes with ore is the bumper just one peice?

its a 1 piece bumper, designed after the silvia Aero front but re-styledand also with the addition of the molded lower front valence/lip.

which more or less means its not removable unless you got a jigsaw andsome experience with fiberglass

^ oh I see now. I think thats why I like it so much because it looks like a stock aero bumper with a small lip skirt around it. nice
