I don't know how many of you know, but I'm having a rebuilt long block ka24e installed in my 89 hatch. All went well until yesturday, when I was notified of bad motor mounts. I ordered those from advanced autoparts and they will be in sunday morning, so I'm bringing them to the shop that's doing the work for me on monday and the motor will be dropped in and I go on my way. I'm excited to get her back, break it in, and finish up the year autocrossing it.

nice. Good to know everything is going well with your car. One question, why didn't you get the nismo mounts for the KA24E?

the stock mounts were 80 a piece, i wanted them as fast as i could get them. I don't wanna weight any longer for it

I enjoy my SOHC. It'll be like a brand new motor when I get my car back, but that's what it is
