Back to basics. For the engine to run what do you need:

Fuel Air Compression Spark

compresion is probably not the problem. Is your timing set correctly? if it is off to far it could be advancing too far when you rev the engine.

Fuel is not likely but it could be a faulty Fuel Pressure Regulator. That is worth a look. Check your vacuum lines. Something may be opening to regular air rather than vacuum.

Take a look and see if you can narrow things down a little.

Good luck.

How long had it sat before you started drivingit again? If it was a lengthy period of time (weeks into months) I would suspect either the fuel pump or the fuel pressure regulator. Other than that not enough information to try to narrow it down.

Check things out and try to tel us what checks good etc.

The basics to maintain a running engine were mentioned earlier. I narrow it down to fuel or ignition problem. I doubt its the fuel pump but dont rule it out, could be the ignition coil, inejctors. Check those out. The coil could be tested by pulling the wire off of it and place it just above the head or block, youll be looking for a super white or blue spark. The injectors just take a long screw driver and stick the head of it on the injector you should hear a clicking or ticking. Thats the solenoid. The pump you should hear a buzzing sound before you start the car, just turn the car on dont crank it over, if you do youll cover the sound your looking for with the engine trying to turn over. Hope that helps out
