my 240 just stopped running while driving

i was driving down the road a few days ago, and my 240 just started bogging down and eventually died. For the past few months when i go to start it, it acts like the battery is dead, like it doesnt even turn over, then it starts after a few times. what could this be? i drive it on empty alot...could that have anything to do with it just bogging down out of nowhere? idk. somebody help plz. thanks

Check the voltage of the battery. might be a fuel pump issue

Check fuse to said fuel pump and when was the last time you changed your fuel filter? Also check for any leaks in the sending fuel line.
