So today i cleaned the air filter on my car, right after that it started running like there was a vaccum leak, but i checked and everything was fine. Then it started running fine again, so i kind of ignored it. Then i took it on a drive just now and its acting really wierd. I can get it into the high revs in first, but then when i shift into second or third and floor it, it wont let me get past 4 grand, and makes this really odd popping noise, then when i push the clutch in, it just dies, and my battery light comes on. Then when i start it again it runs normal until i get into the high revs, and it acts up again. Any idea on whats going on here cause i'm absolutely stumped!

Just a thought but make sure your battery is in good condition and that your alternator is functioning properly. In my experience the battery light should only be on when you first turn the key on or when its sensing low voltage. Could be at higher RPM your drawing more current than it has to give and its cutting out. As I said just a thought.

I had that same battery light and the e break light and buzzer is on, go get a new alternater or find a used one that works that should fix the problem.
