Hi i own a 89 fastback and i recently bought a regular cone filter adaptor and a K&N cone filter. I hooked everything up, i put a breather on the vacuum hose, and drilled a hole into the stock piping for the IAT sensor. Now my car sounds like a weed whacker or a go kart at low end. The higher i rev it, it sounds better, but low end, like 1-2500rpm, its pretty rough...any suggestions? thanx for your time.

What vacuum hose are you talking about? I forgot what it's called but is it by the stock intake box and goes into your exhuast manifold? If it is, then it should be fine. Did you have the problems before you installed the intake? I'd suggest check'n the vacuum lines that goes into your intake as mess'n around with the intake piping might cause some to come lose or even crack on older 240's.

goes to the aiv valve. You can get a filter to replace that hose. It shouldn't cause the hesitaion problem. Start by checking all other vacuum lines, then, egr, tps, plugs, wires, etc. Goodluck.
