Post

picked up my 1 owner S14 from a used car lot for 3500.

car had some cosmetic damage, and was originally from maryland. bone stock base model, no sunroof, 4 lug etc.

this was the first car i ever modified, so my build has been slow and full of learning experiences.

horrible wheels, ebay exhaust, still 4 lug

my puppy jade. full blooded rotty

coilovers, 5 lug, rear Z brakes, front Q45 brakes, all adjustable suspension arms

T25 turbo kit, 370cc injectors, emanage blue, standard bolt on kit

wired up emanage and learned how to read ECU pinouts at the same time lol

put the turbo kit in and had to do a bit of modding to get the s14 SR coldpipe to fit

everything in and kind of working

bought an s13 ka and began the build

wheels and tires

engine stuff, timing kit and ARP heads and mains

red top lol

AMS basic kit

head cleaned and rebalanced, crank balanced and polished

got some paint

head work

me with a bunch of dsms lol

crank in with rods and pistons all bolted up

sard FPR

SS lines and fittings for the fuel/coolant system

mostly put together

swapped the engine in in 3 degree weather. verrrry hungover. overall horrible idea

tear down to redo all the wiring, get everything prepped for cage + stitch welding

coolant temp gauge

setrab oil cooler

KA oil filter bracket(not sandwich plate)

picked up an accusump system off ebay

t25 on left, FP big28 on right

mazworx 1 piece driveshaft

my 2 cars. awesome AE92

dont have pics, but i have an emanage ultimate with map sensor, and greddy e-01 i will be using to control boost.

constructive criticisms? <3

what kind of power are you expecting? also way later when you have time/money you should repaint that fugly color lol.

Heres your constructive criticisim, Dont you think your horsepower goal would be accomplished alot easier with a larger turbo? Thats alot for that T28 to handle, even if you did get the horsepower goal you wanted you would have to run mad high boost when you could run alot lower boost and get the same numbers out of say a 50 trim?

check the link, its not just a t28...i quote

Don't let that cute little shell fool you, however, because on the inside it's 100% pure evil. We carefully selected a compressor and turbine combination that provide massive flow capabilities and very little back pressure. Doesn't sound like a big deal? Did we mention it makes full boost in just a hair over 3000rpm, and holds solid all the way to redline? Now we're cooking with gas.

The compressor and turbine are the largest T28 available with 37lb/min flow rate, that is about 550cfm.

I noticed the timing kit box you showed, I hope that's Nissan parts. If not, send it back get only genuine Nissan timing components. Trust me after you invested all that time and money on your build don't burn it on cheap parts. I speak from experience, seek out my KAT build thread...

Mad props so far. I wouldn't have painted it white though, it will get dirty quick. But other than that, everything is looking really good. Congrats.

hah yeah man, i just noticed this was you.

i blew a hole in my old one nailing a cone or something at a drift event.

oh well.

havnt decided on a kit fully yet.

dmax front and rear overfenders, new wheels, (wider and lower offsets) and a few other things should be coming in the next month or so

taking a trip down to alliance to get my SS oil lines made.

interior is stripped out now and beginning to remove sound deadening.
