After at least a couple years of wanting a DSLR, I was finally able to get a D7000. The last few months before I got it, I was hardly shooting because my other camera, a Canon Powershot SX10IS, was just getting frustrating to use because of it's bad low light performance and fairly clunky controls. I guess it was okay for a point & shoot. It had served it's purpose.
