Makes a noise everytime I start it up and get up to around 10MPH. It sounds like it is coming from under my accelerator. Any ideas? Thanks.

Take it to the dealership and have them find out the problem and fix it...

That would make sense. Only does it after initially starting up. Thanks a bunch.

Concur with Mehdi, A little "clunk" noise as you get to about 5-10 mph is the ABS check, I was happy I stumbled upon that info back in Sept 07!!

Speaking of 'noises"...

When windows are down is anyone able to hear what sounds like the drive belts spinning a little too loud as rpms increase?

That may be just due to the "rubber band" effect that all CVT's are prone to. I've not heard this, but this is what I would imagine it to be - the transmission sometimes will spool up faster than the engine is putting out and vice versa - its a commonality for CVT transmissions.

Confirmed- its the ABS check. Hear it everytime I start my car. Start worrying when you don't hear it...

Not sure if you were responding to my noise? If so, im not cvt. I can hear what would seem like my belts being slightly louder than normal, to the point its an annoyance

Ahh...I didn't realize you had MT (you don't have it listed). I would pose the question to other members with MT's - though I've not heard this issue come up as of yet.

Has anyone else experienced this? Or familiar with this issue?
