Hi, all.

A big change for my daily driver. After 15 years and 210k miles, I sold my 2003 M45 a few weeks ago. Because my deposit on another car came through after a couple of years.

My daily driver is now a 2018 Tesla Model 3 ... will write up about it sometime in the future. Love the 5.1 sec 0-60 time on the car - incredibly quiet and smooth acceleration!

My son also bought his first car some months ago: a 2004 BMW 330Ci two-door, with 137k miles, ZHP package that adds power, updated panels, larger wheels and tires, etc. With a manual transmission of all things ... glad to see some young people still want that! :yesnod

I do plan to continue to occasionally visit and assist the other moderators in this forum although I am not as active as they are, of course!

I would've just kept the M45, I don't think at that age if it runs well it would be worth getting rid of, but who knows! Hopefully you'll own another infiniti

I thought about keeping it ... someday, it will be a classic, I think!

Unfortunately, reduced garage space (with three other cars in there already) and not wanting to pay insurance on it as an occasional use vehicle, meant that it had to go.

Didn't want to leave it outside in my driveway - we have jerks that come by and vandalize cars, steal from mailboxes, etc.

After haven driven my Tesla since July now, I will say this: I hope that Nissan and/or Infiniti come out with a well-built luxury all-electric that I can think about in the future. The Tesla - at least the Model 3 - has some quality issues that a true luxury car manufacturer (Infiniti, Lexus, etc.) would do a better job on.

BTW, after using the single large (15") LCD display for some months now, I can say with certainty that this has grown on me totally - despite my initial misgivings. Leads me to note that the interior of other cars look busy and haphazardly designed. The Q50, with its dual-screens, is an example of this trend - they need to look at how well Teslas has done it (and updated cleanly!) frankly.
