U-turns are impossible. You probably go through tires like once a month. It brings a shizload of attention to your car by everyone; the popo not exlcuded.

I don't know, like today... I was taking NismoB13 to get his tire fixed, and we were making a turn onto the main boulevard. It has a center divider, so I had to cut the corner tight to keep from going into the other guy's lane. The car slid out. Police don't like stuff like that from what I hear. A 16 year old kid wearing a "Got Drift?" T shirt driving a lowered S13 is not very credible to them...

You'd be surprised, I used to own a 240 for the last 8 years

But I never understood why people own more than one. Like if you had a choice, would you eat hamburgers everyday with different toppings on them or would you have a different meal everyday?
I didn't mean it that way.... I'm not young enough to know everything.. lol

But see, I have my black hatch with the SR. I never daily drove that thing. I took it for a few spins around the area, and that was is. Its been parked most of the time.

Then came the gold coupe. That thing didn't even have an engine in it for Pete's sake. I meant to build it, but the 510 came along, and I just couldn't pass it up.

So this car is really my "first" 240 in the sense that it will be the first I get to actually use on a day-to-day basis..

lol, sounds like u'll get the cops attention indeed. the shirt probably doesnt help. i've been lucky enough not to get pulled over in my "hooked on lsd" shirt. that would not go over well.

I already love it. (Not to say I didn't love my 510 and have already forgotten it).

You know, there's really a huge difference between the 510 and a 240. My 510 had no luxury whatsoever. It had a steering wheel, 3 pedals, a shifter, a dash with no working guages, and a crappy carpet. No heater, no radio, no dome light, no interior lighting whatsoever actually, no defroster, nothing. But it really didn't matter. Daily driving in that car felt like racing. The sensations brought to your entire body by the sound of sidedraft carbs, the stiff bouncing off your butt in the seats, the squealing of the tires when going over huge dips, the smell of gas, and ultimate feeling of being "the sh1t" were unexplainable until you had experienced it for yourself.

Coming home from school was entirely different. The long street that led to the school was always filled with everyone walking home. God I loved driving down that street in my car. Everyone would turn around and just watch me drive up the street, and do some heal-toe coming up the the stop sign. The wind was always in my hair, people were always asking me for rides, and I was just livin' the life in that car.

The 240 is different in the sense that it simply does not have that racing edge that the Dime had. Its a completely different car to me. It has luxuries. I can turn on the heater when I get cold, I can listen to some tunes, I can actually check how fast I am going... I have a full interior. Its so quiet that I can't even hear the motor. All I hear the the friction of the tires on the abbrasive asphault.

It makes me overjoyed in the sense that I have a normal car, but also devastates me in the sense that I have a "normal car"...

Sweet, thanks man. From what I understand, its plug and play? So in that case it will just be with the corners.... If I have trouble, I'll give you a ring-a-ding. Sorry to hear about your diff man.

Speaking of diffs... after driving this car on the street for a few days, I quickly learned that welded diffs on the street are FTL. I'm just waiting for a cop to pull me over....
headlights are plug and play, the corners and the bumper lights arent. just give me call.

about my diff ... i broke the pinion shaft into two pieces. ****ed up the pinion, the ring gear, sheared up the gears on the spider gear, so im getting a whole new pumpkin

yarly. everyone i know that has a bike said the same thing about the insurance. a guy i know had a bike as an only vehicle and insurance was ridiculous since the ins company knows that u have only on mode of transportation they expect a greater risk of accidents sine u have to ride that bike every where, bad weather, snow and everything. if you have another vehicle and a bike as a secondary they assume ur only gonna ride it during nice conditions and not as often so they expect less chance of accidents and insurance isnt so much

Plus the loudness of the car in a quiet street when I was driving in 2nd gear at like 5k when i really should be in 4th adds to the pleasure.

Onevia is a coupe with a 180sx front. So basically all USDM coupes that dont have a conversion are onevias.

I'm getting the conversion at Panda Garage probably.
