I bought a tube of this and tried it tonight. The headlights look better but there is still quite a bit of whatever it is that's on there. Upon close inspection it does appear as though most of whatever it is is on the outside of the lens, but it's not coming off. Some of it appears to be bug juice stains. I can't even get it off with gentle scratching of my fingernails. The top lines on the lenses seem to be yellowing, but I can't figure out what's causing it.beancooker wrote:The fog is definitely on the inside? My Maxima had foggy lights, but it was all on the outside. Meguiars Scratch X removed it all.
Nope. These are the original xenon headlights. I've always wondered why the low beams are so dim, maybe this has something to do with it.beancooker wrote:The plastic that they use on our lights is crappy. I had to use a buffing wheel to get it clean. You can try that, but be careful as to not worsen the problem.
New HID's?
My bad. I suppose it may be time. Do HID's get dimmer over time?beancooker wrote:Yeah, my miscommunication... Time for new HID's?
