hi, im new here and thought i would share my little dattos. i joined here to sell my L320 but plans changed and im able to keep it. ive grown up around datsuns all my life and years ago when i saw this '64 NL320, i had to have it. when i was 10 i bought it for $50 and knew that sometime down the road i would have the knowledge and skill to get it back on the road. ill be getting some better pics as im clearing the shop out to bring it down there to start working on it.

early this spring, i picked up this '64 L320. it wasnt running and needed some work to get the shine back.

heres what it looks like now.

i also have a '72 1200 coupe that i picked up sometime early summer. ill be sure and update the progress on the trucks over here. the NL320 will be getting a big makeover with a 12a rotary, bags, and a bunch of other stuff. the L320 will be staying pretty much the way it is now until i get around to repainting it as its going to be staying all original. i hope you guys like

well i got started on tearing down the NL. i spent a little bit gutting it out so i have a fresh canvis to start on. its now ready to go down to our shop to pull the motor and start doing some major work to it. i was surprised to only find one little spot of rust on the whole truck after tearing it apart. i should be going to the junkyard tomorrow to pick up a new fender for it because that fender would be a little hard to fix. the back damage looks like itll actually be pretty easy to fix surprisingly. the tailgate is another story.

well, i havent got any work done to it recently but i did make progress. i just bought my first home and it has a 2 car garage. its a little squished right now in there but there is still more stuff to unpack and karting stuff that needs to go back in the trailer that we used to move. its kinda cut off in the pic but there is about 5 feet next to the orange NL320 that once i clear stuff out, itll make more room to work.
