Had this car as a daily driver for about 6 months now... Not much for mods yet. Came with BOV, Tein suspension, turbo timer, Impul exhaust, OEM skirts, OEM rear spats, red S grille, series 2 tail lights, etc.

So far general maintenance and insurance has been eating up most of the budget. Regardless the car should see lots of progress by the 2014 show season. God willing.

The Kakimoto wheels I bought in the winter, came back from being fully restored recently. 17x9 +34. The faces were powdercoated J's racing teal. Wheels are wrapped in Toyo Proxes R1R.

These cars are a bit obscure, so I thought some may enjoy the shots:

Not a bad looking Skyline. Don't much care for the tails on the 4 doors, though. Ought to see if there's a way to swap the coupes lights over.

Impul used to make some pretty decent entry level pieces for Nissan. Their exhausts usually sound pretty nice and the wheels that were offered through dealers were pretty hot as well.

Also, do you have spacers on your wheels? +34 "shouldn't" be sitting that far out in the wheel wells. Maybe since the fenders aren't as flared as my GT-R they just look better...

Over all, great looking car. Let's see the interior and engine bay, as well.

Heh heh. I hear the tail-end thing alot on forums. But I actually prefer the sedan rear end. It has more detail and looks more retro. And from the side profile the a** end looks a little sleeker. Imo / to each their own. Autech made a GTR spoiler for the sedans that gives them a more sporty look, but one would be so hard to find... Autech only made about 200 of the Series 2 sedans into GTR's, and many didn't have the optional spoilers either.

It's funny you mentioned the Impul exhaust, cause that's what it has on it. Same one from the Impul-R sedans. There was only about 200 of the Series 1 sedans given the Impul-R treatment. So good luck trying to find an Impul exhaust these days, cause as far as I can tell Impul discontinued any support for the R33 a long time ago. I just got really lucky that it already has one.

I was looking at Impul wheels. But once I found these SSR wheels made specifically for the GTR, I couldn't resist. They are just a hare under 20lbs each to. Not running any spacers, I was a bit worried about fitment, because the GTR has slightly wider fenders. But in the end they came out nice and flush. The fenders were rolled by a previous owner though.

I had the aging Tein suspension replaced recently with the Silkroad Section Spec on Swift springs. And lowered the back about a half inch, to even out the stance.

Engine bay is pretty much stock for the time being, the motor is healthy, so been focusing on other areas that need TLC. Recently replaced all 6 tie rod ends.

Thanks for the comments and suggestions.

More shots, since the suspension swap, and one of the interior as requested:
