Just thought I would share.

My Ivory Quartz Pearl 1991 Infiniti Q45 Full-Active Suspension, with 125k miles.

This was before they added the letter "a" for the FAS option.

Nice looking Q. How's the active suspension working? Is she in good shape mechanically? How's the leather holding up? Inquiring minds want to know.

Never heard of this one. Have you got a couple of hydraulic lines coming out of the top of each front strut (as seen from the engine compartment)? If so I have a chrome "a" to put next to the "Q45" on your spoiler. Email me if you'd like it.

Welcome to NICO.

EDIT- Oops. Sorry. I just saw the pic of the s"full active suspension" sticker in the rear window. Never seen that either.

Thanks for the compliments. The ride is very bouncy and the sunroof sticks a little, but other than that the car is fine. The leather is in nice condition, but the Bose speakers are starting to go bad in the front. The "Height" switch still works and the car still lowers when turned off and raises back up when turned on.

nice looking active cosmetically. hope you are a committed owner to restoring the mechanicals to as-new.you do know about the chain guides, right ? your engine is a ticking time bomb until those are replaced.texasoil is not too far from you (Houston). he is the world expert on the active suspension.I rebuild the bose amps---however all my stuff is in storage for a while. might check with Goody and inquire if he has any spares that i rebuilt for him.

My Q45 also as active suspension but i just picked it up and the hose was chewed on by a rat! so my front left hose has a hole in it! is there anybody around that would know how to fix it? also do you have the controler that allows you to raise or lower your car on the fly? I DO:)

Do you have any pictures of the interior?

If its white then your car may give Lino's car a run for its money, No offence Lino.

Nice spoiler...looks like you have the best of both worlds.

Mike - my car doesn't have the "a" either. I read the same thing that the "a" was on teh 1992 and up cars. My car doesn't have the back glass sticker either. It was removed when they tinted it.
