Hey, Brent here, you guys might have seen my 95 coupe that I was working on, well it fell in the dirt and now I own a S13 hatch. <3 It's got a few things I need to fix. Like this killer grinding scraping noise. It sounds like it's coming from the clutch, I don't know, it just sounds terrible, it only makes the noise when I have it in gear and driving, the noise is gone when I have the clutch pedal out and the car in neutral, if anyone has an idea what it is please please please let me know.

Here's some pics.

Clean hatch, KA transmissions are really cheap and at that point you may as well do the clutch too.

Do you guys think it's the transmission? If it is then I guess I better start looking, it's hard to find one around my area though. :/

I think it had a little too much when I bought it if you know what I mean. ;D

I'll fix that eventually, right now I'm worried about the big stuff.

Noise could be an exhaust heat shield, throwout bearing, pilot bearing, U joint, carrier bearing.

Thanks man, I didn't pay anything for the car. I just traded my run down S14 for it, straight trade.
