My 1991 240sx sr20det SWAP PROBLEMS "help"?

Hey everyone,I recently had a swap done from the 5 speed ka motor to the sr20det motor...

The car keeps over heating. please help?I just put a thermostat in it,and even the liquid additives for the antifreeze...

Did you bleed the cooling system?

yea i bleeded the little via 10mm socket thing on top of the watter neck....

keep trying turn the heat on full blast. and jack the car up in the front sounds like air is traped in the block also fill your over flow tank so when it gets hot and you cool it down it will pull in the needed coolant.

ps. when its good you should feel heat coming out of the vents

I dont have a heater core... the people who put the motor in for me bipassed it.. they hooked the two hoses together....

still try jacking the front of the car up in the air some times you can burp it that way. if you still are overheating cheack for leaks with a presure tester and stay in the rang of the cap if it is 13psi cap test the system to 15psi if you leak it will let you know. get back with me on this one. i still have some tricks up my sleave hope that helps
