my 1991 240sx se (first car!)

so i finally got my first car ever at the age of 18! its a 91 se coupe with 200k miles on it, auto, no a/c, no moonroof, needs paint.

the top of the fenders and doors were resprayed black over a dark Grey and the clear coat wasn't put on properly. i got it for 1200 i talked him down from 1400. i need to get new brakes due to rust, anyone know a good way to go on restoring brakes? z32?

the paint is much nicer on the drivers side, my plans are, getting it all running and working, new brakes, new seats,new headlight, 5 speed, welded diff, wheels, coils, suspension arms, sway bars/braces, then engine and boost.

but its going to be a slow project

not bad....looks like my coupe. It says you are from NH so does the car have any rust?

yeah the car has alotof surface rust underneath it but its my first so i wont complain.

the exhaust is held up by one custom hanger. but ill replace it soon enough. has alot more go than i expected too

and the dent in the drivers side headlight cover went from the size of a large grapefruit to the size of a baseball. i feel achieved

i got the car in portsmouth nh and i live in bedford and nashua, russ weed and jordan m are good pals of mine. theyre on 240sxone

z32 brakes are overkill

and force u to run 17s to clear them (i think some 7 spokes clear the 26mm ones but its still nice to be able to put the stockers back on

i say q45/j30s up front and your good to go

hope its just "surface" rust

hahah yeah the rust is there but it hasnt created any holes yet, and ill try to repair most of it, if not ill buy a shell and swap parts once my rails are gone.
