ok heres the problem i have a 240 and it hesitate when im driving and i belive i found the problem but im not sure if its the only problem

the wires going into my fuel injectors are kinda rotten and when ever i push on them the car tends to hesitate and choke so im gonna c if i can get new wires/connectors and hopfully that will be the problem. not the fuel injector's its self. If any body had the same problem i would like to know what you did to fix it and yeah....

What do the wires look like? When the car is running, remove the injector plugs one at a time and see how the car idles. When you remove each one, the car should (like you mentioned) choke and hesitate/bog. I believe they make some sort of wire cleaner spray too. Otherwise, you can bust out a multimeter and check to see if the injectors/plugs are getting recommended readings according to FSM.

well you can wiggle the plugs on the injectors and figure out which one is the culprit. with an 89 or 90 chances are the plugs on the injectors are pretty green. You can take a small screw driver and a can of electronics cleaner and scrape that green corrosion off the plugs. It will also help to tighten the female connections on the plugs (harness side) with some small pliers to ensure a good connection after you clean those up a bit as well.
