Hi guys I just bought a beautiful hardbody but it has some problems. When I try to turn her over the fuel pump is not kicking on and the coils are not putting out fire. But both coils are receiving power. And I unhooked fuel relay and jumped the connection with a wire and fuel pump kicked on. Any help would be highly appreciated.

As for the fuel pump I'd start by replacing that relay. What's the build date on your 1986.5? The info is on the door jamb sticker if it's still readable.

Sounds like the syncros are gone. This happens over time and/or if someone replaced the oil with the wrong stuff...ie GL5 which should never be used on these transmissions.
