My 03 maxima is overheating only when I turn on the ac

I have 2003 Nissan maxima 3,5 se runs great until I turn the ac on when I turn it on it overheats real bad all the fans are working and she's full of coolant

Welcome to NICO! Just a couple of quick questions as there are only a couple of things that will make it do this. The aux fan comes on when you turn on the a/c? You say the thermostat is new, did you put it in correctly? When the car gets warm, are you getting heat through the vents?

Yea the fans are working and when I turn the heat on it sends heat but I don't think it's as hot as its supposed to be and I have a new thermostat but I haven't put it in yet I want to make sure it's that the themostat was a bit pricy and thanks for the welcome I love the form I think that the belt is way too tight I'm waiting on my buddy to come buy and give me a hand with the work
