This weekend I took a little road trip to a friend's house to do some r/c bashing (nitro, electric, gas). Either way, we took a break and I took him for a ride in my car. I just installed my new to me RL rear swaybar (thanks vflores) and I wanted to test it out. There is a pretty good sized lake in his town with a very fun and very winding road around it with trees on both sides. I flipped to manual mode and hit the curves pretty hard, the roads were so windy that top speed was around 40mph, but my car handled so beautifully! I had my car in the sweet spot around 3k-5k rpm the whole time and the VQ sounded AMAZING! I could hit the apex on the dot and be on the throttle hard out of the corner with no trace of understeer at all.

Before the addition of the rear sway I was on eibachs with the RL STB and 19x8.5 hankooks. I could turn in really sharp, but I could still feel the back end body roll. With the RL rear sway installed the rear feels soooo much more planted and stable and I could only feel the amazingness of lateral G's and almost undetectable body roll. After the cruise my friend went on and on about how he had never rode in a car that handled that well around corners and in general. He loved the "surge" of power you feel with the CVT and he couldn't stop talking about how awesome the exhaust note was. I just sat in my seat with a big smile and that made it all worth it to me lol BTW he drives a 02' Mustang GT with full intake, exhaust, and cams. He is on coils with 18x9 in the front and 18x10 in the rear. When we got back to his house all he said was "wow dude, i'm really impressed by the alti".

as a side note for anyone interested in r/c stuff, here is out latest vid of what we are all about :mike

when i installed the RL RSB i went to test it out and to my surprise i actually oversteered once or twice on the turns, amazing improvement when it comes to keeping the car composed and more predictable.
