I know there are a couple threads about mustang mafs's but none of them really explain much about it. I have one and I'm wondering exactly what's the purpose of it and what would be required to install it and for it to work efficiently.

I was going to do it on my ka. All i got out my questioning was it would have to be rewired, and the injectors would have to be recalibrated. Place by my house was going to calibrate injectors for like 120...

If it is like the 300zx maf. It will have to be rewired and you will need to have your ECU reprogramed to be able to use it. Jim wolf technology can do it for you.

the stock MAF can read as much air as a z32 or cobra. I think it max out at about 260hp (240sx) so If you are making more than that you need an new MAF, unless you go standalone.
