My dear friend from japan passed away and left me a 99' Skyline GT-R R34. i need to know is it possible to get it imported from Japan to Florida and get it legalized for just Florida? i also need to know how much will it cost? i think i can pay the fee's but i really don't want this car to rot in Japan like the rest.

To be honsest, Yes, you can get it legalized in Florida. BUT...it's a major pain in the arse, the people who do it can be quite shady, it will cost money you may/may not have (not saying either way, as I don't know your financial situation), and it's not completely legal.

I might suggest, that unless you really want this car, maybe find someone in your friends family that would like to have the car.

Don't worry, an R34 GT-R will not "rot" in Japan.

Becouse the prev. owner passed away and left it for you, and it actually is yours on paper youll have a coplete and trouble free import, also florida is easy on skylines and you get everything done (inspection wise) , youll still need to pass the three laws, but like I said one of the laws say that if the owner passed away and left it to you its easier to aquire and you havin the reason to why import it,
