Must I replace door weatherstrip w/cover?

Hi there.

I had SafeLite quote me on installing a rear 1/4 glass in my '92 coupe, and they only want $35. I have the replacement glass, so this isn't going to be as expensive as I thought.

Anyways, they recommended that I source the seals/covers from Nissan, rather than through them. The weather strip *cover* is bent up, and want to replace this; it extends from the 1/4 glass up to the front near the mirror.

My question is this: do I need to replace the weather strip for the door also, if I want to replace the cover? It looks to be in good condition. Also, do you recommend I replace the 1/4 glass weather strip no matter what condition it is in(since it will surely be disturbed), or can I get by with my used one?

Oh BTW, they want $310 for 1/4 glass+installation!
