I'm not into the "bling bling" rap either. That's why I like rappers like DMX, Wu-tang, Eminem, etc. I like Ludacris because he is funny, not really bling bling. That, and I'm from Atlanta, so I gotta love the locals :)

Yeah, the whole rolling on dubs rap isn't me. All that bling-bling loaded with ice **** gets annoying... Thats why I like Eminem and Dre and them.... DMX is good too. Ludacris does have some pretty good **** too.

And like I said, I do like rock too... just don't listen to it much, so I don't know who or what it is ; )

GoldFinger is good stuff

How about some good ole Run Dmc

Linkin Park is kicking again...

what exactly is bling bling rap? well I like some, but Don't know enough names to consistently get good stuff off kazaa, so i don't at all

i heard some good rap a while back when i was skiing it sounded kind of old school but not the same, i could never find any of it

Recently the alternative rock station went to hell so I am listening to classic rock now, good stuff but they play the same songs 6 times a day, still good though

I like listening to Generator by Foo Fighters personally, but then again they're one of my favorite bands of all time so I may be a bit biased.

Yeah, I actually like Still Fly... I just can't stand that Birdman... Maybe if I make an animal noise 75 times throughout a song I can get really ****ing rich... Maybe even get a chrome grill?

Haha, that **** looks so bad...

Yeah, I like that one Chevelle song that was out on the radio recently.

Yeah, trance/house/techno is good stuff while driving. "Get Busy Child" is one of my personal favorites :)

Of course, Chem (Dust) Bros., Prodigy, Crystal Method, Cirrus. On the rock side, I remembered Filter, some of their stuff would be great. Take My Picture, no, too slow and soft, but most of there other stuff, and especially Trip Like I Do with Crystal Method, that's a great song.

The entire "Vegas" albulm by Crystal Method rocks.

Also, DJ Keoki is awesome too. That one song speedracer is a good driving song, but my favorite of his is the remake of what's it called....gosh darnit, can't remember the name of it. It was the song they played in the movie RAD while they were doing bike tricks on the dance floor.

Anyway, nobody probably knows what I'm talking about at this point, so I'll shut up :)

all that techno and metal stuff gives me a headache. I put something on with a smooth beat like some nate dogg, bob marley, warren g, shade sheist, outkast, timbaland, slick rick, wyclef but not too loud, i like to hear my engine and exhaust still. I listen to the same kind of music for all styles of driving.

I like that kind of stuff more for cruising, not haulin ***. Outkast is always good. Timbaland is good too for cruising. But for a really relaxed cruise, Bob Marley is great. I think cruisin in a convertable when it's 70 degrees out while listening to Bob Marley's "One Love" would be sooo relaxing.

Those are exactly the things that underground hip hop tries to get away from. Listen to the actual lyrics of these people and you'll hear some extremely intelligent insight (well versed, of course) into all different kind of things. This kind of rap is LIGHT YEARS away from mainstream hip hop... just so you know. ;)
