I know we have an electronics forum, but it's rather dead, sorry for knowingly posting this in the wrong place.

Here's the deal. My workplace is now allowing us to enjoy music. It has to be in your work area, can't be from a phone, and we aren't allowed ear buds. I am a free spirit and don't have a work area. I'm looking for just what the title states.

8 plus gig preferred, with reasonable sound. (I work in a manufacturing plant, it's loud) I have never owned a music player, only phones that play music, so I'm ready to purchase what will make my work day that much more enjoyable.

I have found speakers that connect via bluetooth (which I would have to buy a player for) and players that mount to your arm (that I would need a speaker for (or earbuds that I can't have). There are a few players with speakers that I have found, but don't offer an arm mount. I have found players with speakers that clip to your person, but I don't want them weighing down my pants.

In the highly technological world we live in I believe I should be able to find exactly what I am searching for, but, no such luck and customer service is rather ignorant and non existent nowadays.

Check out the Sony S series Walkman. They came with built-in speakers.

Arm bands are available on Amazon. I've never used it myself so I don't know how loud it gets.

^That actually looks quite nifty.
This seems like something Bose would make.
"Wicked tiny little player thing that is as loud as a concert hall".
