YouTube will not load for me in either Chrome, Firefox, or IE. I did a Google search and followed the instructions on about 10 fixes and I'm still having issues. Any ideas on how I can fix this? Thanks in advance.

The videos won't load? Is it just stuck on the loading thing?
What about other Flash based things?

The videos will play but the music skips. I've updated all my Flash and Shockwave players.

Strange...
Never had that issue before.

Does it happen with mp3s?

How about another computer on the same connection?
If youtube works on another PC, then it's a PC based problem.
If not, it may be a problem on the ISP side.....
Also, try this (it's free) to tidy up your PC's temp files and registry.

Sounds like a driver issue to me. I would go into Device Manager, find your audio card driver and attempt to update it.

If that doesn't work, then you may need another sound card or need to completely delete and reload the driver in case it's corrupt. How old is this computer?

Dave - your audio card driver diagnosis was my first thought but I wanted to get some other opinions. Youtube works on everyone's computer but mine. Also plays fine on the iPad and my phone. Sound also skips on other audio but nowhere NEAR as bad. I bought this computer new December of '08 or January of '09.

Edit - Priss just told me that when she plays her videos for her school lessons, they do NOT skip.

I had this problem. They recently made [dumb] changes to their HTML5 player. Try opting out of HTML5 to switch back to Flash:
