It looks dangerously close to that in the infiniti cars, (it probably is the same thing). as some of you may know i'm not in the nissan family...yet, but am very close to becoming a part of it. maybe you can settle some doubts in my mind.
do any of you guys know if the nav system has the music box that lets you download your music into the hard drive? i currently have this feature on my eclipse stereo system in my tc and is one of the things holding me back but if the factory system has the same technology i will go nuts.
also... for those who have the factory nav, is it voice activated and is the resto of the sound system voice activated, such as saying the name of the song and it goes to it. lke the sync system ford has.
thanks!
Be prepared for some dissapointments. The Factory Nav does NOT have a music box, but it IS voice activated. The sound system however is NOT voice activated (No music box, so where will it pull the music from?)
In any case, if you want the top of the line technology from your NAV, don't get a factory Nav. But if you want added security knowing that your nav won't be stolen and you want integrated steering wheel controls (all of them won't work with aftermarket NAV, even with additional hardware) then buy the factory Nav.
I would say most bang from your buck comes with the Aftermarket equipment.
