I'm new to the hard drive for ripping Cd's. (Just bought a used 2011 M37). How do I clear the hard drive or at least delete the music that the previous owner put on? CAn't find the instructions anywhere. I really like the CD burning feature -- but I see some other owners don't agree with that.

I love the hard drive!!! Should be the same as my M45s and G35s sedan!! Start by having your music box turned on, go to "menu"on the bottom left of the screen, if you are on Map or Status you will not have a menu button so push the disc/aux button then go to the bottom left to "menu", then scroll down to "edit albums", go to the albums you don't want one by one, hit "enter" and scroll down to delete by song or delete by entire album!! Try that and let me know if you still need help...I recently sold my M and had to do this so it's easy for me to find! :bigthumb:

This will be the same menu if you have an old CD that our software cannot read the song titles and tracks, so you could enter the "names" on there manually... Takes long but if you really want to do it, this is how! :gotme

Infiniti has a software that can update any unidentified CD that the Music Box doesn't have in it's internal database.
