Hello...I just purchased a 2009 LE AWD Murano. When using the music box, my ability to search for albums or songs is limited...the search function seems to be available at random times only. Nothing in the manual about it, but the best I can tell is it isn't available when driving, only when parked?

Very inconvenient when sorting through 50 CDs...anyone else run into this or did I get a bad music box?

Thanks!!!

Many functions, including most of the Music Box search functions are grayed out and not usable while you are driving. It can be very frustrating!

If you are confortable doing a little wiring, the thread at zer...no-le shows (with pictures) how you can splice in a switch that prevents the speed signal from getting to the system, making it think it is stopped, and allow you to use all the functions of the Music Box, Navigation, etc that are normally grayed out while under way.

I agree... that is the most ridiculous thing. Thanks for the link, I think I may do that wiring thing too.

It is a pretty simple mod, and works well, especially if you install a DVD player to watch on your front screen!!!! It also works great for watching movies on your iPod or iPhone!
