Greetings fellow G riders!

I just recently purchased a 2009 G37S and ran into a little problem with the Music Box included with the Navigation option.

I have not been able to delete an album and have the same album ripped from the CD back into the Music Box. Everytime I attempt to delete a specific album and record from CD again, the MB will recognize that I've recorded that CD in the past and restore it from the "delete items".

As convenient as this may be, it is not what I want it to do. The reason being that some of the tracks had poor audio the first time I recorded them to the MB.

Does anyone know how to permanently delete an album and have the MB record from the CD again?

Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

I was just in the music box doing some stuff myself and i thought i noticed an option to delete inside the deleted area...

Hit Menu. Music Box Info... Deleted and see if you can delete again...

I was recovering some deleted items, so i didnt try what you need to do.. I have to think you can delete it permenantly or else it would fill up eventually without being able to modify.

Thanks. You are absolutely right!

I somehow missed it or possibly the option wasn't available while the car was in motion. I know some of the functions in MB are not available when the car is moving. Either case, it does allow you to delete it once you go into the deleted folder.

Thanks again.
