I cannot seem to find the solution to my current problem. I recently replaced the master cylinder and brake lines, the problem is after I bleed them a day or two the brake pedal gets all mushy and is no longer tight. I had speed bleeders on, well a few busted so I replaced back to regular bleeders and bled the system. The brakes were nice and really tight. 2 days later(today) I get in hit my brakes and they go down pretty good ways before the brake engages. Even with the car off the brake pedal will go down a good ways. Every time I bleed the brakes get very nice and tight, and a few days later they get all mushy again.

Help is appreciated.

Thanks!

maybe u have an air leak. did you check your fluids? make sure its full. or could it be your speed bleeders are leaking just a tiny bit so it doesn't show till a few days later?

yeah you've got a leak somewhere...

are you losing brake fluid or just getting air in the system?

Did you bench bleed the master before install? There was a similar thread in Wheels/Tires/Brakes forum this last week..

bench bleed all masters (and take your time to get it perfect) before install!

Yes I bench bleed the master cylinder, pretty easy. I got all the air out.
